Quick Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills x Amrezy Highlighter

I purchased this as soon as it was released on the Anastasia Beverly Hills website along with the Soft Glam palette (click for review). I really should have waited until it was released on Beautylish to avoid the ridiculous $17.95 USD shipping fee I had to pay…….ughh the first world problems of a makeup addict. This highlighter can now be purchased from Beautylish for $28 USD.

The highlighter comes in cute black and rose gold packaging with stars embossed on the front. Inside the product has been poured in the shape of waves which gives it that multi toned appearance.

The shade of this highlighter is a yellow gold with no visible glitter particles. It is a thin powder which has a beautiful sophisticated golden sheen that seems to sink into the skin. When you dip a brush into the pan there is no powder kick up whatsoever. The highlighter is versatile as it wore well as eyeshadow, eyeshadow topper or inner corner highlight.

Final thoughts are that the yellow gold shade is nothing new or original but the formula is different to other highlighters in my collection. I have heard this is the same formula as an older ABH highlighter, but I don’t have any in my collection to investigate this claim myself. The price at $28 USD is pretty reasonable in my opinion, check out my review on the Tom Ford  Sheer Highlighting Duo for an obscenely priced highlighter!

Overall I rate this product 8/10.

Are you going to grab this highlighter? Let me know in the comments! xxx
